Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers’ housekeeping service. This service is for clients seeking housekeeping services either on a regular schedule or occasionally. Family Helpers’ housekeepers all have a minimum of 2 years professional experience and excellent references. Housekeepers are thoroughly screened; the screening includes an in person interview, reference checks and background checks.

Housekeepers are essential for busy families that want to spend their precious free time with family, exercising, entertaining, enjoying a hobby or relaxing.

Housekeeping Duties

Housekeepers do full cleaning, laundry, ironing, and light meal preparation and organizing. Full cleaning includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, picking up clutter, removing the trash, cleaning the bathrooms, and cleaning the kitchen.

Most of the housekeepers drive, so if the position requires grocery shopping, running errands or taking a pet to the vet, the housekeepers are happy to do this as part of their job.

Family Helpers does work with some housekeepers that also have childcare experience.  If a position requires that the Helper divide her day between housekeeping and nannying, Family Helpers will refer candidates that have experience doing both.

Housekeepers earn $20 – $30 per hour.  The agency placement fee for this service is 12% of the housekeepers first year annualized gross compensation ($1,200 minimum), or you may opt to pay a daily agency fee, for occasional, as needed housekeeping services.
